Setting up product tags

Using Product Tags for Customer Filtering in GrazeCart

This guide explains how to set up and manage Product Tags in your GrazeCart store — an easy way to help customers filter and find products based on specific keywords or attributes you define.

What Are Product Tags?

Product tags are customizable labels you can assign to products to create additional filtering options for your customers on your store’s front end. Customers can click these tags to quickly narrow down product options based on categories like “Beef,” “Sugar-Free,” or any tag you create.

How to Add and Manage Product Tags:

  1. Access Your Admin Dashboard:

    • Log into your GrazeCart admin account.

  2. Assign Tags to Products:

    • Go to Products in your admin panel.

    • Select any product to open its details.

    • On the bottom-right side of the product page, you’ll find the Tags section.

    • Add a new tag by typing it in. If it doesn’t exist yet, it will automatically be created and assigned to the product.

    • Remove tags by clicking on the existing tag.

    • Be sure to save your changes after adding or removing tags.

  3. View and Manage All Tags:

    • Go to SettingsTags to see a list of all tags currently in your store.

    • From here, you can review or remove tags entirely from your platform if needed.

Why Use Product Tags?

Product tags give you additional control over how customers browse and discover products in your store — a flexible, user-friendly feature not always available on other marketplace-style platforms.

Tip: Combine product tags with other filtering tools like vendors, protocols, and collections for a fully customizable shopping experience.
