Reseting a customer's password

You can manually reset a customer's password while logged in with your admin account.

  1. Find the customer by searching for their email or name from the People index.
  2. From the customer's profile page click "Reset Password" from the actions menu.

Resetting a customer's password will email the customer a random password. You will also receive a copy of this email in case the customer does not get theirs. 

Note: This is a meant to be a temporary password. The customer should be encouraged to update their password from their account to ensure their account is secure.
