A: Back in February and in early May we sent you emails regarding the transition of your Payment processing account from a Stripe Standard account to our customized processing account with Stripe. This transition grants you access to benefits such as next business day funding and enhanced fraud protection, which we extend to all our clients. As part of this migration, you'll gain access to our payments portal, offering comprehensive access to your payment processing details, including payment and deposit reports, and virtual terminal for telephone orders. Over the next few days, we'll migrate your Stripe account to our custom Stripe account, and the Payments Portal will serve as your primary source for any payments-related information.
What are the implications if I choose not to create a password for the Payments portal?
A: In the coming days, we'll be transitioning your Stripe account to our custom platform. After this migration, all payment-related information, for any payments made after that date, will be accessible exclusively through the Payments Portal. When will my payments begin processing through your Stripe connection?
A: While we don’t have an exact date, it's expected to occur within the next few days. Once the migration is complete, we'll send you an email notification. We appreciate your patience in this process.
Will my payment pricing be affected by this migration?
A: No, your pricing will remain unchanged. The noteworthy aspect is that you will receive transaction fraud screening and next business day deposit services at no additional cost as part of this migration. Therefore, we encourage you to avail yourself of these benefits as soon as possible.
Will my historical transactions from Stripe be transferred to your payments portal during the migration?
A: No, historical transactions will not be migrated to the payments portal. You will retain access to your old Stripe account, where you can view information about payments processed before the migration date. However, all transactions occurring after the migration date will be accessible through our portal.
I currently have a loan through Stripe. What will happen to it after the migration?
A: Your loan through Stripe will remain unaffected by the migration. Stripe will continue to service your loan and will deduct the appropriate amounts from your daily deposits towards loan repayment. You can access all relevant loan information by logging into your Stripe dashboard. No new loan will be offered by Stripe after migration.
Do you provide a loan product?
A: You will have access to Stripe loans through your old Stripe dashboard even after migration. Also, we are working on introducing our own loan product to GrazeCart customers and anticipate it being available in the coming months.
I access Stripe reports today to track my sales. What do you provide?
A: We provide daily sales, deposit/payout data through our Payment portal. These reports can be viewed on Payments portal or downloaded as CSV files for your own custom analysis
