Log-in as Customer

Sometimes customers will have issues and the easiest way to help is to see what they are seeing. To login as a customer:

  1. Find the customer by searching for their email or name from the customer index.
  2. From the customer's profile page click "Log-in as Customer" from the actions menu.

You be automatically logged-in as the customer and redirected to the store front. You can now navigate your site just as if you were them.

Note: You can not access the admin while logged in as a customer. To access your admin again your must first log-out and then back in with your admin account.

Resettings a Customer's Password

You can manually reset a customer's password from your GrazeCart admin.

  1. Find the customer by searching for their email or name from the customer index.
  2. From the customer's profile page click "Reset Password" from the actions menu.

Resetting a customer's password will email the customer a random password. You will also receive a copy of this email in case the customer does not get theirs.

    Note: This is a meant to be a temporary password. The customer should be encouraged to update their password from their account to ensure their account is secure.
